So imagine someone get mad that their art commission didn't get accepted by their favorite artist, so they decide to use an AI tool to train and generate a piece of "art" that looks like it was made by them. It then gets posted on social media, and the person "thanks" them for creating this piece of "art", even though it wasn't drawn by the original artist. The original artist takes notice, and reports the individual for plagiarism and putting a bad reputation to their works.
Now there are some different scenarios that could happen right after that individual got reported by the artist. In one scenario, the individual apologizes to everyone and the artist for harassment and using AI to generate unauthorized versions of their art, promises not to use AI again, and then deletes all the generated pictures immediately. That individual then follows it up by stating they should've read the guidelines first instead of just lashing out towards the artist. In another, the individual creates an alternate account, and decides to plagiarize another person's art using AI, making them the most wanted suspect on the internet.
Although it's less likely to happen, and with AI rising up to the mainstream, I wouldn't want to see any one of my favorite artists get angry that their work got plagiarized, and it made them feel bad. I just want to see more real art, made by real people.
