It was a hell of a week for me. My mom and her new husband decide to clean up the living room and patio area just to get rid of all the junk and make them more presentable. Not to mention it was raining a lot, almost preventing me to do my usual city walk, but I managed to do all the things I wanted to do without getting soaking wet.
On Christmas Eve, we went to Costco and bought some food supplies I need that will last me for about a month while my parents were buying ingredients for the family dinner. Later that evening, we had a family dinner, ate some great food my mom cooked, when suddenly the power went out in the middle of the storm. I had to make sure everyone in the household was okay, even my sister and her family until the power finally came back on around 9PM. After that happened, my parents decide to do some karaoke until midnight. While I was asleep, the power went out again, and I didn't notice it until I woke up and saw my computer desk light up.
On Christmas Day, we didn't do much, since it was pretty much part 2 of the dinner from last night, but I did get to watch the 2nd half of Stranger Things season 5 too see how the group will stop Vecna and save the city of Hawkins and the world. It was an amazing experience, and I can't wait to see the finale on New Years Eve.
The day after Christmas, I decided to go to Japantown, the Nintendo store and Stonestown to do some shopping, and boy, there was a lot of people trying to get gifts, because there were sales going on, and they wanted to get the best deals possible. In the end, I got out safely, and did all the usual stuff I do at home.
Overall, my week was pretty fair, even though there were some stressful moments. As the new year is about to arrive next week, let's hope it won't be as crappy as the year we're on, and make our future the best it will ever be.
